Hants White was born February 24, 1911 in Carleton County, New Brunswick, Canada. Where, with three brothers, and three sisters, he grew up on a farm. He crossed the International line into the United States in 1928, and worked at various jobs from Maine to California.
He married Phyllis Draper in 1931 and settled in Aroostook County, Maine. They began farming in a small way, and raised eight children in the depression era.
The writer has always been interested in others, and their problems. His writing reflects this interest. His stories are human interest type. Factual, informative, interesting, and flavored with humor. Rich enough so you will read, re-read and always remember.
